Sat/Sun 15-16 August 2026: Follow-up Screen Printing Workshop - Two Day *NEW COURSE TRIAL PRICE*

£120.00

The Course

Taught by Sarah Harris, a landscape screen print artist, at her own print studio on this two day course you will be guided through the process of producing a three colour A4 screen print.

This is an opportunity to come back to the studio having done a previous workshop to utilise the skills you’ve learnt and push them further having more knowledge of the processes.

You will come with a concept or a good idea of what you want to produce. On the first day we can discuss your image and create the layers.

Please note if you want to work with a detailed starting layer this may need to be done prior to the workshop, I can post an acetate, or details on how to get an image professionally printed prior to the day to be arranged at your own cost.

On the first day you will also coat and expose your screens, and mix your inks.

The second day we will print the layers, and look at registration of your design and you will prints own small A4 print edition.

*PLEASE NOTE* This is the first time running this course and so I am running this as a one off trial price. Normally days run from 10am to 4pm but this might have a slightly earlier finish.

Who is this course suitable for?

This course is for people who have been on one of the previous courses and want to create another print using what they’ve learnt. This course is not suitable for beginners.

Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.

What will you be doing?

You will still be guided through the basics of creating a water based screen print but at a faster rate than the beginners workshop.

Coat and expose a screen using the photo emulsion method.

You’ll learn about mixing inks and how to print and register layers.

The outcome will be your own three colour print edition on A4.

Preparing an Image

To create your image you may do one of the following...

- You have an image you want to use such as a photo, and can email.  This image will need professional printing, this will be at an additional cost.   I would be happy to put this into the right format and arrange.  Alternatively if you are confident to do it yourself I can advise.  Your other layers would be made at the workshop.

- You can draw a complex image as the basis of your print, you can create it at home prior to the day.  I can post an acetate to you, and you would need to use opaque materials (not included), such as acrylic paint and/or Posca pens.  Your other layers would be made at the workshop.

- If you have a concept you can do in the studio, for example you can trace from a design, have something not too complex to copy, or you want to create more blocky layers, you can do this on the day.
