Staithes Art and Heritage Festival 2026
After a year off we’re excited to get back to Staithes Festival of Art and Heritage, one my favourite places. I will be again exhibiting at Greystones, a 17th century grade II listed house that was originally a village inn called the Golden Lion – and reputedly a hotbed of smuggling activity!
I love to be able to share the venue with my pals, and super talented makers…
Caroline Brogden, contemporary jeweller (formally Sea Breeze Designs), makes beautiful hand made jewellery inspired by the sea in both silver and gold.
Charlotte Morrison makes ceramics inspired by vintage packaging and her most recent collection looks at paths and contours in the Yorkshire landscape.
Visitors can walk the maze of lanes visiting these spaces and discover 113 artists exhibiting across 67 venues throughout Staithes. There’s also guided walks, workshops, talks and film shows. Heritage also plays an important part in the life of the village and will be celebrated in events and exhibitions throughout the weekend. There will be a vibrant programme of music ranging from street buskers to concerts. Visit the website for more details.
