I'll be celebrating 10 years at my studio with an open weekend at the end of the month.

Pop in and see where I work and the updated studio, see all my work, nosey at the bargains, talk to me about workshops, and see a demo. Oh and it wouldn't be a party without cake!

If you want to make it a day trip, here’s my tips for what to do in Rawdon…

• Start with a little breakfast treat and a croissant at Croissant D’Or, a French bakery in the heart of Rawdon. Bread is baked each day on the premises, using classic French recipes and, along with a variety of patisserie.

• Pop up to The Village Bakery (only open on Saturday mornings and not Sunday), do get a loaf made from Heritage grains to take home for later, also baked on site.

• Then park up at near the Billing car park, to walk around the tree topped hill which one of the hightest points in the area and can be seen as far as Bronte Country.

• Come see me at the studio and learn about screen print and may be take home some prints or cards.

• Then have a late lunch at Brown’s Greens a delicious vegetarian cafe, might be worth booking a table.

• Book a tour and tasting at Knotfield Vines to sample their wines and learn how they are made.

• If you’re still around later have an evening treat at Turkquaz, there’s a two course offer on Sundays. Pick up some cash to pay.

A beautifully curated exhibtion pop up by jeweller Caroline Brogden the exhibition "Modern Makers" showcases over 30 artists and makers. This takes places at the Bath House on the grounds of the lovely RHS Harlow Carr, so whilst visiting the gardens you can also explore this wonderful collection of work.

For opening times, check with RHS Harlow Carr which is locate on outskirts of Harrogate in North Yorkshire.

The Hepworth Wakefield Print Fair is an amazing fair celebrating everything about print.  You can discover over 60 artists, printmakers, along with galleries from across the UK. You can find a full list of exhibitors here.

Plus street food, family activities and there will be discounted exhibition entry.

The event will be held at the Tileyard North, a refurbished mill opposite the gallery.

I always love The Hepworth Wakefield events, and fun fact I was there at their very first event, so it’s wonderful to celebrate The Hepworth Wakefield’s 15th birthday at their brand new market.

There will be 65 independent makers all from Yorkshire. Expect to find ceramics, food and drink, homeware, jewellery, prints, textiles and much more each designed and made across the Yorkshire region. You can find a full list of exhibitors here.

It’s wonderful to be back at Saltaire Arts Trail at the Makers Fair, having grown up just above the village and it being the inspiration behind so many of my screen prints, it always means a lot to do this event.

The Makers Fair is held in Victoria Hall in a stunning building in the very heart of the village, and as usual there will also be the trail that includes open houses, demos, exhibitions and events. Saltaire Arts Trail is also open on Saturday but the Makers Fair is only Sunday and Monday.

The makers event will showcase over 70 makers from across the UK, “sharing their fresh, contemporary art, craft and design carefully chosen for their quality and originality”. For a full list of artists visit the website here.

OUR TURN open exhibition for Bradford artist’s will open at Loading Bay in Bradford city centre in December. It will platform and recognise the experiences and creative voices of people right across the district, including those who are currently underrepresented.

We want to create an exhibition that is bold, which excites and inspires visitors and which presents an authentic vision of creativity in Bradford at a moment when the Turner Prize will shine a national spotlight on the city.

I’m very excited to be apart of this show and looking forward to seeing it!

A year and a half in the making it seems a long time since I last exhibited my work in a space as big as this one. The Craft House is a great space and it’s lovely to have my work displayed in the cafe area, I hope you can pop in and enjoy the prints along with some wonderful food and cake, there’s also also an exciting program of workshops which you can see on their website, here.

This is the third Christmas exhibition and the biggest and best so far and it’s wonderful to be exhibiting at this Bradford gallery for the first time along with 52 other artists. This lovely gallery is run by fellow printmaker Patrick Whitehead in the heart of Thornton in Bradford.

There will be a preview on Friday 6th December from 6pm to 9pm and the gallery will be open from Thursday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm and Sundays 12 noon to 4pm.

Great to back to the lovely Hebden Print Fair and this wonderful town.

This is an annual print fair that celebrates the wealth of printmaking talent in the north, with a variety of printmaking methods including screen printing, etching, linocuts, risograph and more.

The fair is located in the centre of Hebden Bridge at the Town Hall which also has a nice cafe and views to the river.

So glad to be coming back to the seaside, and this wonderful event The Staithes Festival of Art and Heritage in one of my favourite places.  I will be again exhibiting at Greystones, a 17th century grade II listed house that was originally a village inn called the Golden Lion – and reputedly a hotbed of smuggling activity! 

I have come together with a great bunch of artists…

Caroline Brogden, contemporary jeweller (formally Sea Breeze Designs), makes beautiful hand made jewellery inspired by the sea in both silver and gold.

Charlotte Morrison makes ceramics inspired by vintage packaging and her most recent collection looks at paths and contours in the Yorkshire landscape.

Jillian Riley Designs producing porcelain vessels inspired by mythology and a passion for things that are a little on the dark side.

Visitors can walk the maze of lanes visiting these spaces as well as taking part in a programme of guided walks, workshops, talks and film shows. Heritage too plays an important part in the life of the village and will be celebrated in events and exhibitions throughout the weekend. There will be a vibrant programme of music ranging from street buskers to concerts. Visit the website for more details.
