The third in my Northern Monk Patrons Project Culinary Adventures series and who doesn’t love a sticky toffee pudding? Now I think about it I definitely didn’t do enough research on this one!
Fortunately when I got the brief of the Lake District for this beer I had been on a brief trip to the Wastwater on a little break in Cumbria between the lockdowns, it’s an amazing place with a lot of drama and I thought it would lend itself really well to this one.
The caramel brown tones as well as reflecting the colour of the pudding also give it a 1970s retro vibe.
